Sony still making a loss on the PS3

Although Sony recently got back in to the black it turns out they are still loosing around $18-$36 dollars per console. This hasn't stopped them selling 6.5 million consoles in Q4 last year and along with increasing Blu-Ray sales. Though PSP sales have dropped along with PS2 sales.

You have to remember though the PS2 is now it to it's 9th year and with the release of the PS3 you wouldn't expect it to be doing any better.
